What Does a Woman Want?
What does a woman want? To feel good about the way she looks is a huge deal for most women. So here I am at the What a Woman Wants show and my booth is smack right next to a liposuction booth... haha! Across from me is ANOTHER liposuction booth... I thought that was pretty funny.
Losing weight is a huge deal for most people because most people are not the ideal size thanks to convenient quick meals in the fast food industry or even in grocery markets. There is also a huge problem with the size of meals served in most restaurants. It's all about making food quick because we all leave such busy lives, and when we do get to sit down at a restaurant, we're served double or triple what a normal meal should be. Do these huge or quick meals help us in our efforts to live a healthy lifestyle? NO WAY.
When I found out about FORM I was working my buttocks off (literally) trying to shed the baby weight I had so conveniently and consistently gained with my 5th pregnancy. A HUGE goal for me after every pregnancy is to work that weight off ASAP and I'm pretty darn good at it if I do say so myself. :) Well, 5 pregnancies later and of course I'm not getting any younger... the weight was not coming off so easily this time. I swore by SlimFast (even though I was so HUNGRY just taking the shakes two meals a day), and working out. Those two things combined helped me shed the weight after 3 previous pregnancies. Well, this time around it was slow going and I was getting anxious to find something else.
Rich's friend was telling him about FORM and how it works and I was listening to the conversation (thanks to speakerphone in the car). I couldn't stop thinking about this new product and this new idea in weight loss. I told Rich I wanted to try it.
So I signed up and have been THRILLED - ABSOLUTELY THRILLED - to have found something that works 100% of the time! I've been losing a consistent 2-4 lbs a week and will be down to my goal weight in no time at all. I don't feel hungry AT ALL. I don't feel deprived either because I can eat what I want, I just won't eat as much of it. It's all about portion control when you want to lose weight - taking in less calories than you're working off. That's what it says in "Weight Loss for Dummies"... haha! YES, I did buy that book and it's great! :) But I believe it completely and it's obvious to me in all my weight loss efforts after each pregnancy.
So I put a little plug in this blog about FORM and FIXX from O3World and people gained interest and started signing up. That of course, put me in a position I wasn't really considering when I first signed up as a customer. I am happy to say that I am getting my product for free and it's only uphill from here.
I spent this past weekend doing the What a Woman Wants show in Sandy and had a really good time talking to people about this new idea in weight loss. We had people enter a drawing and everyone who entered at least gets a sample so they can try the product. We sold little packs of 6 pills for people who weren't quite interested in buying a whole bottle, and sold bottles of FORM as well as packets of the FIXX shake. It was great. I love the idea of helping people get healthy. I found something that works for me and so many others and it's been fun comparing stories. My friend Lena has lost 11 lbs in 2 weeks... Julianna has lost 10 lbs since starting, etc. It's a good thing and I'm glad I found it.

Walking from Obesity - Myrtle Beach, SC
Heather,
Marty and I are going to join the WALK from OBESITY event this Saturday in Myrtle Beach, SC.
I have links on my blog if anyone would like to donate.
Funds generated from the event support the ASMBS Foundation and its research and professional education initiatives, and the patient and general public educational and advocacy programs of the Obesity Action Coalition (OAC).
We all know someone who is touched by the disease of obesity. Please reach out with a KIND hand.
On another note. I am on my second day of using FORM.
I cannot believe how full I feel.
I intended today to take one capsule before lunch and 2 before dinner however I was so full, one before each meal was enough.

20 Diseases and Conditions Directly Attributable to Being Overweight
Obesity is a growing concern in the United States; overweight rates have doubled among children and tripled among adolescents. This increases the number of years that they are exposing themselves to dangerous health risks associated with obesity.
Here are 20 diseases or conditions that can be attributed to obesity:
1. Diabetes, a disorder where the pancreas is not producing enough or sometimes not any insulin. Diabetes can lead to a whole host of other medical issues and obesity is one of the main causes.
2. Cancer has many different forms and types; many of them could be prevented with more attention to eating healthily and avoiding obesity.
3. Congestive heart failure is a condition in which your heart can’t pump enough blood to your body’s other organs.
4. Enlarged heart is another heart condition where the muscle of your heart becomes larger due to being overworked, which naturally happens if you are overweight.
5. Pulmonary embolism is a sometimes fatal blockage of an artery. Being overweight causes most people to reduce activity, and after time lack of activity can result in an embolism.
6. Polycystic ovarian syndrome is a condition in which cysts develop in your ovaries. These can burst, causing even further problems.
7. Gastro-esophageal reflux disease happens when stomach acid and juices flow from your stomach back up into your esophagus. It is common in overweight people.
8. Fatty liver disease is a reversible condition in which large pockets of fat accumulate in liver cells.
9. A hernia is caused when the hole in the diaphragm weakens and enlarges.
10. Erectile dysfunction is the inability to develop or maintain an erection, which can be caused by a medical problem due to obesity.
11. Urinary incontinence is the inability to control urination. It is frequently associated with obesity, weak bladder and pelvic floor muscles
12. Chronic renal failure, meaning your kidneys fail to work, is a much greater risk to those who are overweight or obese.
13. Lymph edema is a condition that occurs from a damaged or dysfunctional lymphatic system, sometimes caused by people suffering from obesity actually crushing their own lymphatics.
14. Cellulitis is a spreading infection, involving both the dermis and subcutaneous skin tissues, resulting from poor lymph flow caused by obesity.
15. Stroke is caused by a lack of blood supply to your brain.
16. Pickwickian syndrome is characterized by sleep apnea resulting from obesity placing an excessive load on your pulmonary system.
17. Depression is a condition where a person feels miserable constantly, even to the point of being suicidal. It can be worse for someone who also has a weight problem.
18. Osteoarthritis is a clinical syndrome in which low-grade inflammation results in pain in your joints. It is caused by abnormal wearing of the cartilage, oftentimes due to obesity.
19. Gout occurs when uric acid accumulates in your blood. Nerve endings then become irritated, causing extreme pain, which is made worse by carrying extra weight.
20. Gallbladder disease commonly affects overweight people as a result of high blood cholesterol levels, which cause gall stones.
According to a Surgeon General report, obesity is responsible for 300,000 deaths every year in the United States.

Losing Weight has Never Been so Easy
I have never, absolutely NEVER known weight loss to be so easy. When you don't feel hungry or deprived, you just don't think about food all the time.
I am losing a consistent 4 lbs per week and so is one of my partners, Peter. (He's a guy though so does he really count?) :) Heheehhehehehh...
When another of my partners came to do the show with me he had never tried a FORM pill before. He isn't needing to lose any weight and is in O3World for the business aspect. Around lunch time, he was "starving" so I gave him one FORM pill to take and he seriously couldn't believe how quick his hunger went away. He and I both had a granola bar for lunch and we weren't hungry again till dinner.
So I find that the FIXX shake is absolutely the BEST ever at keeping me satisfied till lunch. I might have a piece of fruit in between, but usually I'm so busy I don't even think about food and then BAM it's lunchtime. With Slimfast I was hungry two hours later. Rich had to drink TWO Slimfast to even hold off his hunger. Needless to say, I am in love with my FIXX shake. Even when I am down to my goal weight I love a healthy shake for breakfast.
The vendor show was so fun and I'm still on cloud 9 about how well it went. We met some absolutely fabulous people! Sean and Peter are getting calls and emails and that will keep them busy for a while. They are good people and I'm really happy to work with them.
Life is good, life is good.

Down Seven Pounds in Ten Days... Yes, TEN Days
Of course as soon as I got my order of FORM and FIXX in, I started taking the pills and drinking the shake. I had been anxiously awaiting my shipment and when it came I was ecstatic!
I drink one FIXX in the morning and then I drink another one for either lunch or dinner. I also take 1-2 FORM pills 30 min's before lunch and dinner.
I do snack in between meals - try to keep the metabolism up by doing that. Sometimes they're healthy snacks and sometimes they're not. So having two FIXX shakes a day and one normal meal, I feel really, really great and don't feel deprived at all. Those shakes are amazing. They really hold my hunger for hours and don't even compare to SlimFast in that sense. I lost weight after each baby using Slimfast but it wasn't always easy cause the hunger was still there. With FORM and FIXX the hunger isn't there and so it's not difficult and I don't wonder about what I'm going to eat next.
I started on August 27th and today, September 6th, ten days later I've dropped seven lbs. That would be about 5 lbs a week if I keep this up. That means I only have 23 more lbs to go until I reach a good, healthy weight for my 6 foot frame.
This is just what I needed and I'm seriously so happy. Once I reach my goal weight I'll adjust my diet and have just one shake a day. I will also drop my exercise routine to 3 days a week instead of 5-6. So crazy wonderful!!!
Weigh in and photos are on the 15th of every month so I'll be posting photos and giving another update then.
